Photo Card Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does this work?
First, browse our site to get an idea of the style of cards that we have to offer.  Then, send us an email
using the order form at the bottom of the Pricing/Ordering page.  The order form will ask for:
1. Your name, email address & ZIP code (for shipping estimates)
2. The type of card that you need, the number of pictures that will be included and any preferences for
the style of card.
3. The number of cards you need and the date you need them by.
4. The text/personalization of the card and any additional comments.

After you submit the form, we will respond with an invoice (including shipping, design fee and tax) plus
instructions for payment and information on how to submit your pictures.  Upon payment and
submittal of pictures, the design process will begin.  Within 2 days, we will submit to you a final design for your approval. Upon approval, the design will be printed and the photo cards will be mailed to you.        

How long does it take?
Most orders can be turned around within 2 weeks (from the time payment is received).

Can you send me a sample of a completed card?
Please contact us and we will be glad to send you a sample.

How do I submit my pictures to you?
Pictures can be emailed to webmail "at" jmt-art.com.  Please submit high resolution unedited pictures.

I would like a black and white photo or a color-accented photo in my card.  What do I need
to do?
Just submit your high resolution, unedited pictures to us and we will do the rest.  Our design fee
covers any photo editing required.

Can I submit a photograph from a professional photographer or portrait studio?
You will need to ask the photographer or portrait studio for a signed release form allowing us to use
the photograph.  When a portrait is taken by a professional, they retain the rights to that photograph
and unless you get a signed release form, no one will legally be allowed to edit those photos.

Will I get to preview the design before it is printed and mailed to me?
Yes, we will not print any cards until we have your approval on the design.

Do you do "design-only" work?  Can you edit my photograph so that I can have it printed on
a t-shirt or other merchandise?
Yes.  We can provide photo-editing services.  Please contact us for pricing.

How do you ship the finished product?  What does shipping cost?
We use USPS Priority Mail.  Shipping rates will vary depending on the size of your order and your
location.  

How do I pay you?
We accept any major credit card, debit cards and e-checks via PayPal.  You do not have to have an
account with PayPal in order to use this method of payment.  We also accept check or money order,
however the check must clear our account before designing will begin.  We also accept cash payments
in person (for local orders).  

Where are you located?
We are located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

Can I contact you by telephone?
Our voicemail telephone number is 509-471-2399.  If you would like to speak to us via telephone,
please either leave a message and we will promptly return your call, or you can email us with your
telephone number and request a call back.  We would be glad to speak with you in person.
